Arts and Sciences

Arts and sciences are picking up in Lost Moor. The “peasants revolt” A&S meet up at Amme’s house went well. It was well attended.

The Calontir Metal Smithing group is meeting up at Helias’ house in Saint Joseph May 1st-3rd. All are welcome.

Minister of Youth

Looking into InspireU as a place to do youth activities and meetups. Also exploring local libraries and schools for hosting youth activities in a more public place.

Working on Q1 reports.

Social Media/Webministry

New CALON plugins and features are getting added to our website all the time.

Officer Emails were audited by the kingdom recently. This doesn’t affect any of our officers as we use all of our active emails.

Martial Activities

Steel Practice! Will be Thursday evenings, 6-8pm starting 5/27/26

Archery Practice – The Archery targets are always available at Helias’ house, and his range is usually available. Reach out if you would like to get some range time in.

Rattan – Fighters have been commuting to BFS for practice for lack of a marshal.

Recent Events:

Gulf Wars:

• We sent a delegation to Gulf Wars to run our War Barracks, and feed the kingdom breakfast. We housed 10 guests and we fed just over 300 meals during the war, and received $90 in donations.
• For Next Year:
  • Do it again! This was extremely well received, and we were highly encouraged to do this again.
  • Get a propane tree for the kitchen to allow us to have all the stoves running off one tank at a time, and have a lantern.
    

Upcoming Events:

Ren Faire:

• We will have the same schedule for our fights with the same rotation as last year to get us the best exposure around the jousts.
• Demos and class lists are finalized.

Lilies War:

• The Lilies War staff have asked us to host an additional dinner during the war on Monday. We will be doing a Philly Cheese Steak donation dinner.
• Open camp to youth and families
• Lost Moor Party – Monday following our donation dinner. We will be doing funnel cakes and drinks.
• BBQ Competition – The shire will not be participating in the competition this year.

Vertigo 2026:

• Event Bid was approved by the Reeve.
• Flyer will be submitted shortly, additional revisions were required
• Site Booking is confirmed.
• Our dates got bumped by Kings Company of Archers. We are now September 25th-27th.
