Officer Updates:

Arts and Sciences

Lost Moor A&S Meet Up – May 11th at Hyde Park from 6-8pm

The Calontir Metal Smithing group met up at Helias’s house on May 2nd and 3rd. About 20 people attended, and much metal work was to be had.

Minister of Youth

Lost Moor is assisting the Barony of Vatavia in running youth activities for Valor. We will be teaching a stuffed animal armoring class, a candle making class, and a youth boffer making class. All are welcome!

Exchequer

No new local updates, there is a new regional exchequer.

Martial Activities

Steel Practice! Will be Thursday evenings, 6-8pm starting 5/27/26

Archery Practice – The Archery targets are always available at Helias’ house, and his range is usually available. Reach out if you would like to get some range time in.

Rattan – Fighters have been commuting to BFS for practice for lack of a marshal.

Upcoming Events:

Ren Faire:

  • Set up is Friday @6pm.
  • We will have the same schedule for our fights with the same rotation as last year to get us the best exposure around the jousts.
  • Demos and class lists are finalized.

Lilies War:

  • On Monday, We will be doing a Philly Cheese Steak donation dinner.
  • Open camp to youth and families
  • Lost Moor Party – Monday following our donation dinner. We will be doing funnel cakes and drinks.
  • BBQ Competition – The shire will not be participating in the competition this year.

Vertigo 2026:

  • Event Bid was approved by the Reeve.
  • Flyer is approved.
  • Site Booking is confirmed for September 25th-27th.

Financial Committee Meeting:

Purchases Discussed:

  • Bacon/Breakfast supplies for Lilies War
  • Funnel Cakes at Lost Moor Party

NOTE: Due to insufficient members of the financial committee being present, no vote was taken. After approval from the shire, we agreed that we will be hosting a financial committee meeting after hours at Ren Fair to approve the Lilies budget, since most of the shire and the full committee will be there anyways.
